I Read Things: Thomas Sowell's "Knowledge and Decisions"

I've been thinking about asking my social media network to recommend a single book, article, poem, or story that they didn't write that will help me understand them better. I'm a total Thomas Sowell fanboy, so if I had to pick a single book, it would be Sowell's Basic Economics. If I had to pick a single essay or chapter, it would be chapter 2 of Sowell's Knowledge and Decisions, called "Economic Trade-Offs," which I've assigned in classes before...
...and may assign again.
I listen to both books in their entirety every year or year and a half. With a new semester under two weeks away, it might be time to fire up Knowledge and Decisions again.
